Tankless water heater incentives:
Homeowners
who purchase and install a qualifying gas tankless water heater between
Jan. 1, 2009 and Dec. 31, 2010 are eligible for a tax credit equal to
30% of the full purchase and installation price up to a maximum of $1500
-- American Recover and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
South Carolina Electric & Gas (SCE&G) is offering a $300 credit to any customer who switches from an electric water heater to a natural gas tankless water heater*. SCE&G is also offering an additional $100 credit to the homeowner if the tankless water heater is a Rinnai.
* natural gas must be provided from SCE&G
